Programs

RCFL is 100% committed to strategically investing in community. We’ll show up at any community forum or coffee shop conversation offering opportunity to dialogue about the current realities and future potentials of N Mpls. Day-to-day, we’re invested in serving the community through dynamic out-of-school time program for children + youth and 26 units of affordable housing. So far, we love what we’ve seen. Kids working out after-school energy through soccer games necessitating air traffic control. Elementary and middle schoolers food processing their way through Farmers Market produce toward hand-crafted salsa, or mingling with snakes during a ZooMobile visit. Middle schoolers knitting bears for children affected by HIV/AIDS in Africa. Youth collectively reading thousands of pages during a two-week summer reading club. A group of North Dakotan volunteers inspired to try hip-hop basics demonstrated by an 8th-grade Redeemer dance guru. Compelling images rendered by youth photographers. Kids who keep coming back to us. Over 500 neighbors gathering for Redeemer’s Block Party on a sweltering August evening. Committed volunteers working and playing hard with youth and staff. 60 residents moving toward greater housing stability, restored credit ratings or even home ownership. Young adults learning the art and science of balancing work, study, and budget. People who are going places.
What we see each day reminds us why we’re here.
We *heart* N Mpls
