An associate works with people in the neighborhood to realize their sense of vocation, equipping them with tools to obtain employment and helping to remove the barriers keeping them from their dream. Breakfast Club- A discussion group facilitated by Aster that meets every Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., in the Living Room. Come and talk about a variety of topics: from racism and activism to relationships and arts. All are welcome. Check it out in the Living Room

African American Think Tank- We’re honored to provide space for the African American Think Tank, a Harrison Neighborhood Association-based organization focused on personal and economic empowerment for African Americans. Chess Club- Youth and adults gather to strengthen their strategic thinking skills in a game of chess. Facilitated by Jack Mangan, an experienced chess coach, every Monday evening at 6 p.m. in the Living Room. Check it out in the Living Room.

Job Readiness Program- Starting March 1st, the Living Room will host a series of job readiness sessions, focusing on developing skills and empowerment. Computer Classes- Join us for a three week introduction to basic computer skills. The curriculum will focus on helping people who have little to no training in operating a computer.
