Logos

A good logo is a symbol imbued with meaning by its owner and accepted by the public it's meant to move. The best logos are the most describable, memorable, scalable, and effective both with and without color. It  accurately represent the organization.

Ultimately, a logo is created by the client who uses it. The design firm listens and moves in the direction the client points. In the end, it represents the client, not the design firm.
